Highly-conductive two-dimensional covalent organic framework (COF) displays prominent applications in various fields of science and technology. This paper reports the design and liquid-liquid interface synthesis of a novel Zr-coordinated amide porphyrin-based 2D COF (Zr-amide-Por-based 2D COF). The COF adopts a graphenelike multilayer structure with the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) band gap of 1.6 eV. In particular, the inherent-ordered structure of Zr-amide-Por-based 2D COF with Zr as the catalytically active center confers several distinct advantages to the material, such as high conductivity and high electrocatalysis performance. A molecularly imprinted tetracycline electrochemiluminescence sensor was constructed based on the Zr-amide-Por-based 2D COF, and gate control effect was used as a signal-generation mechanism. Under optimal conditions, the sensor showed a good linear relationship with tetracycline in the concentration range of 5-60 pM, with a detection limit of 2.3 pM. Because the sensor is rapid, cost-efficient, highly sensitive, and specific, it can be considered as a viable platform for veterinary drug residue monitoring.

When the PEBA is heated to above T-cross, the content of crosslinking network increases with time and temperature, leading to an irreversible and non-negligible influence on the rheological, crystallization, and mechanical properties. A more pronounced strain-hardening phenomenon during the uniaxial stretching is observed for the sample with a higher content of crosslinking network.

Polymer electrolytes with high Lit-ion conductivity provide a route toward improved safety and performance of Li+-ion batteries. However, most polymer electrolytes suffer from low ionic conduction and an even lower Li+-ion contribution to the conductivity (the transport number, t(+)), with the anion typically transporting over 80% of the charge. Here, we show that subtle and potentially undetected associations within a polymer electrolyte can entrain both the anion and the cation. When removed, the conductivity performance of the electrolyte can be improved by almost 2 orders of magnitude. Importantly, while some of this improvement can be attributed to a decreased glass transition temperature, T-g, the removal of the amide functional group reduces interactions between the polymer and the Li+ cations, doubling the Li+ t(+) to 0.43, as measured using pulsed-field-gradient NMR. This work highlights the importance of strategic synthetic design and emphasizes the dual role of T-g and ion binding for the development of polymer electrolytes with increased total ionic conductivity and the Lit ion contribution to it.

The current study involves the biogenesis of titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2 NPs) by using Moringa oleifera Lam. aqueous leaf extract for the reduction of titanium dioxide salt into TiO2 nanoparticles. The measurement of disease incidence and percent disease index showed the time-dependent response and 40 mg/L was reported a stable concentration of TiO2 NPs to reduce the disease severity. The effects of biosynthesized TiO2 NPs were also evaluated for agro-morphological (leaf and root surface area, plant fresh and dry weight and yield parameters), physiological (relative water content, membrane stability index and chlorophyll content) and non-enzymatic metabolites (soluble sugar, protein, soluble phenol and flavonoid content) in wheat plants under biotic stress and 40 mg/L concentration of TiO2 NPs was found to be effective to elicit modifications to reduce biotic stress. The current study highlights the significant role of biosynthesized TiO2 NPs in controlling fungal diseases of wheat plants and thus ultimately improving the quality and yield of wheat plants.
