To a scintillation vial charged with the 6-bromo-4H-benzo[1,4]oxazin-3-one, Pd2(dba)3 (2.5 % substrate), 2-(dicyclohexylphosphino)-2′-(N,N-dimethylamino)biphenyl (6% substrate). The vial is purged under a positive flow of nitrogen and 1,4-dioxane, the amine and lithium hexamethyldisylazide (1 equivalent substrate) was added via syringe. The reaction is stirred for overnight at 90C under an atmosphere of nitrogen.
