And the article contained the following:

In this paper a versatile and efficient method for synthesis of vicinal halohydrins via regioselective ring opening of epoxides by using polymer-supported HCl and HBr under solvent-free conditions is described. The regioselective ring opening of various epoxides is achieved under mild and solvent-free conditions by using crosslinked poly(4-vinylpyridine)-supported hydrochloric acid, [P4-VP]HCl and crosslinked poly(4-vinylpyridine)-supported hydrobromic acid, [P4-VP]HBr, under heterogeneous conditions. [P4-VP]HCl and [P4-VP]HBr act as both solid proton source and as nucleophile and consequently, the corresponding β-halohydrin product is prepared [P4-VP]HCl and [P4-VP]HBr can be easily regenerated and reused several cycles without their activity changing appreciably. The experimental process involved the reaction of 2-(Oxiran-2-ylmethyl)isoindoline-1,3-dione(cas: 5455-98-1).Safety of 2-(Oxiran-2-ylmethyl)isoindoline-1,3-dione

On March 31, 2021, Wang, Guoying; Li, Guoxue; Chang, Jiali; Kong, Yilin; Jiang, Tao; Wang, Jiani; Yuan, Jing published an article.Recommanded Product: 144-80-9 The title of the article was Enrichment of antibiotic resistance genes after sheep manure aerobic heap composting. And the article contained the following:

In this study, physio-chem. properties, 45 antibiotics, 6 heavy metals, 42 antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), 3 mobile genetic elements, and the bacterial community structure were investigated to analyze the fate of ARGs during sheep manure aerobic heap composting. Results showed that sheep manure heap composting could produce mature compost. The degradation processes reduced the total antibiotics content by 85%. The abundance of ARGs and mobile genetic elements (MGEs) were enriched 9-fold, with the major increases to sul and tet genes (sulI, sulII, tetQ, and tetX). Tetracycline and sulfonamide resistance genes were the most abundant ARGs after composting (more than 88% of all genes). The genes tetA, tetX and sulI were related to the most diverse bacteria that were most able to proliferate during heap composting. Therefore, sulI and tetX are the major ARGs to be controlled, and Actinobacteria and Bacteroidetes may be the major host bacteria. The experimental process involved the reaction of N-((4-Aminophenyl)sulfonyl)acetamide(cas: 144-80-9).Recommanded Product: 144-80-9

The Article related to solvent hydrogen bond acceptor solvatomagnetic scale database, Physical Organic Chemistry: Other Reactions, Processes, and Spectra and other aspects.Synthetic Route of 685-91-6

On March 5, 2021, Laurence, Christian; Mansour, Sergui; Vuluga, Daniela; Planchat, Aurelien; Legros, Julien published an article.Synthetic Route of 685-91-6 The title of the article was Hydrogen-Bond Acceptance of Solvents: A 19F Solvatomagnetic β1 Database to Replace Solvatochromic and Solvatovibrational Scales. And the article contained the following:

A variety of physicochem. properties and several hydrogen-bond donors have been used to define methods and to build scales aiming at measuring the hydrogen-bond acceptance of solvents. There is a great deal of confusion in these scales and methods. Solvatochromic, solvatocalorimetric, solvatovibrational, and 19F solvatomagnetic comparison methods are critically reviewed. Only two methods, the solvatomagnetic and the solvatocalorimetric ones, are able to yield reliable solvent hydrogen-bond acceptance scales. The solvatomagnetic β1 scale defined from the 19F chem. shift of 4-fluorophenol is extended to many solvents including ionic liquids and green solvents. The results for about 240 hydrogen-bond acceptor solvents are organized in a numerical β1 database. The comparison of β1 with solvatochromic scales highlights their shortcomings, in particular for the important class of amphiprotic solvents. Therefore, the use of the 19F solvatomagnetic comparison method and of the solvatomagnetic β1 scale is recommended in solvent effect studies. The experimental process involved the reaction of N,N-Diethylacetamide(cas: 685-91-6).Synthetic Route of 685-91-6

On July 25, 2007, Yu, Xuhui; Ge, Hongyan; Zhang, Lei; Song, Han; Yu, Ying; Wang, Yuhong published an article.Synthetic Route of 456-12-2 The title of the article was Expressions of IL-12 and IL-18 in patients with acute optic neuritis before and after methylprednisolone pulse therapy. And the article contained the following:

The expressions of interleukin-12 (IL-12) and interleukin-18 (IL-18) and the relationship between IL-12 and IL-18 in acute optic neuritis (AON) before and after methylprednisolone pulse therapy (MPPT) were investigated. ELISA was employed to determine the expressions of IL-12 and IL-18 in serum in 27 patients with AON before and after MPPT. RT-PCR anal. was employed to demonstrate the expressions of IL-12 and IL-18 receptors in peripheral lymphocytes. The serum level of IL-12 was decreased from (45.6±12.2) ng/L to (17.1±4.7) ng/L after MPPT (P < 0.01), and that of IL-18 was decreased from (157.5±39.3) ng/L to (126.2±22.6) ng/L (P < 0.05). The expression of IL12R mRNA was decreased after MPPT too (0.2948 vs. 0.1507, P < 0.05), and so was that of IL18R mRNA (0.5352 vs. 0.2843, P < 0.05). The expressions of IL-12 and IL-18 as well as those of their receptors were pos. correlated. Methylprednisolone could exert its important antiphlogistic action against AON by inhibiting the expressions of the proinflammatory cytokines, IL-2 and IL-18. The Article related to bromide iodide activated carbon chlorine disinfection byproduct formation toxicity, Water: Water Purification (Including Treatment For Industrial Uses) and other aspects.Electric Literature of 79-07-2

Zhang, Chuhui; Maness, J. Clark; Cuthbertson, Amy A.; Kimura, Susana Y.; Liberatore, Hannah K.; Richardson, Susan D.; Stanford, Benjamin D.; Sun, Mei; Knappe, Detlef R. U. published an article in 2020, the title of the article was Treating water containing elevated bromide and iodide levels with granular activated carbon and free chlorine: impacts on disinfection byproduct formation and calculated toxicity.Electric Literature of 79-07-2 And the article contains the following content:

We evaluated the efficacy of granular activated carbon (GAC) adsorption for mitigating formation of chlorine disinfection byproducts (DBPs) in water with a wide range of bromide (20-1000μg L-1) and iodide (<5-100μg L-1) concentrations GAC effectiveness was assessed by determining speciated total organic halogen (TOX), 70 DBPs, and calculated cyto- and genotoxicity. Overall, GAC treatment effectively lowered formation of TOX and the majority of targeted DBPs over the evaluated service time (>30 000 bed volumes). In the GAC influent, total organic bromine increased from 10 to 84% of TOX as bromide levels increased from 20 to 1000μg L-1. Dissolved organic carbon (DOC) removal by GAC increased the bromide-to-DOC (Br/DOC) concentration ratio in GAC effluent relative to influent. As a result, bromine incorporation into DBPs increased after GAC treatment, especially at early GAC service times and low bromide levels. Total organic iodine was <3.5% of TOX, and iodo-DBP formation was low because elevated iodide was only evaluated in the presence of high bromide and free chlorine, a scenario that favors iodate formation. Although trihalomethanes (THMs) and haloacetic acids (HAAs) consistently formed at the highest molar concentrations, they were not major contributors to calculated cyto- and genotoxicity. Principal contributors to calculated cytotoxicity included haloacetaldehydes (HALs), haloacetamides (HAMs), and haloacetonitriles (HANs), while the main drivers of genotoxicity were HALs, HAMs, HANs, and halonitromethanes (HNMs) despite lower concentrations Because bromine incorporation into DBPs increased nonlinearly with increasing Br/DOC concentration ratios, GAC more effectively controlled calculated toxicity at elevated bromide levels. Calculated cyto- and genotoxicity did not vary strongly with GAC service life, suggesting that GAC treatment can effectively lower calculated toxicity over long periods of operation. The majority of TOX remained unknown (>50%) in all samples despite the quantification of 70 DBPs targeted in this study, highlighting the need to assess toxicity associated with unknown DBPs. The experimental process involved the reaction of 2-Chloroacetamide(cas: 79-07-2).Electric Literature of 79-07-2
