Water (50 ml) and dichloromethane (50 ml) were added and the organic phase separated. The aqueous phase was extracted with further dichloromethane (50 ml) and the combined organics dried (sodium sulphate) and reduced in vacuo. Purification by flash column chromatography on silica gel eluting with pentane:ethyl acetate (80:20 changing to 20:80, by volume) gave the title compound as a yellow solid (124 mg).
