The reaction mixture was extracted withdichloromethane (20 mL x 3), and the combined organic layer waswashed with brine (15mL x 2), dried over anhydrous Na2SO4 and concentrated under vacuum to afford the crude product. The residue was purified by column chromatography to obtain compound 10d and 10e.
